People carry trauma in our bodies, and it can make us depressed or anxious, and cause illness and disease. I am trained in the work of Dr. Bessel van der Kolk and Dr. Peter Levine, whose decades of high-profile research shows that our muscles and cells must release the sympathetic nervous system’s instincts to fight back or run or otherwise protect ourselves that we were prevented or restrained from doing at the moment of the event. I work privately and confidentially with clients to craft a personalized series of sessions of somatic (body-related) release that helps you express the physical, mental and emotional energy you have become patterned to hold onto, in order to move forward in health and wholeness at your own pace. Safe, compassionate, confidential, non-judgmental space is held for your unique journey. An initial one-hour intake session allows us to identify your needs and personal goals, and chart a course toward healing together. Sessions include thoughtful combinations of somatic expression and movement, simple yoga postures, pranayama (breath work), guided meditation, and reiki energy healing that are crafted just for you and your specific path. Book your initial one-hour intake session for $75 and we will come up with a plan together, which I will craft into actionable sessions. Depending on what you feel is right for you, discount packages are available for 4, 6, 9, 12, 15 and 18-week session packages (1 session per week). Outside of a discount package, individual one-on-one trauma healing sessions are $175 per 90-minute session. The way we set it up is completely dependent on your personal needs. *Due to Covid-19, all initial intake sessions are currently via Zoom, unless otherwise discussed. Sessions can take place via Zoom or in person at the studio, depending on level of comfort. Masks are required.
